When someone buys an EV and wants to install a Level 2 charger at home, finding a qualified installer is surprisingly hard. Searching Google returns a mix of unverified listings, big-box stores, and lead-gen aggregators with no way to confirm credentials.

The EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) certifies electricians specifically for EV charging installation — but their directory is hard to navigate and offers no way to compare installers or contact them directly.

CertifiedEVInstaller fixes that: a clean, searchable directory with verified credentials front and centre — for homeowners who want to find the right person, not just any person.

This is a one-person operation built by Dejan Ilešič, an independent developer who builds niche online directories. Not venture-backed. Not optimising for growth at any cost. Just a useful tool built carefully.

If something is wrong with your listing, I want to know — and I'll fix it personally.

All US listings are sourced directly from the public EVITP contractor registry. Every installer listed holds an active EVITP certification. UK listings are sourced from the OZEV approved installer register (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles).

Basic profile data (name, company, location) is auto-imported from public registries. Installers can claim their profile to add contact details, photos, a bio, and service information. Claimed profiles are marked as verified.

If your information is incorrect or you want your listing removed, email support@certifiedevinstaller.com and it will be corrected or removed within 24 hours.

The directory is free to use for homeowners and free to be listed in for installers. Installers can optionally upgrade to a paid listing ($19.99/mo Basic, $99/mo Featured) to add contact details, appear higher in search results, and get a verified badge.

There are no ads, no affiliate commissions, and no referral fees. Revenue comes solely from optional paid listings.
