1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CertifiedEVInstaller (“the Service”, “the Platform”) at certifiedevinstaller.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of service

CertifiedEVInstaller is an online directory that lists certified EV charger installers. Homeowners and businesses may search and browse listings free of charge. Installers may claim their listing and subscribe to a paid plan to access enhanced profile features.

Installer listings are sourced from public databases including the EVITP registry and the UK OZEV scheme, supplemented by information submitted directly by installers.

3. Not installation advice

CertifiedEVInstaller is a directory service only and does not provide installation advice, quotes, or service guarantees. The information on this platform is provided for informational purposes only. Always verify an installer's credentials and obtain multiple quotes before commissioning work. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information found through this platform.

4. Customer use

• You may search and browse installer listings without registration
• Directory information may not be complete or fully up to date — verify details directly with the installer before booking
• You may not use this platform to harvest contact details, spam installers, or for any commercial purpose
• You must be 18 years of age or older to use this Service

5. Installer accounts

By claiming a profile or subscribing, you agree that:

• You are a licensed EV charger installer and the information on your profile is accurate and up to date
• You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your listing at all times
• You will not submit false credentials, certifications, or service information
• Your EVITP certification or OZEV approval is valid and current
• You will promptly update your profile if your business details, qualifications, or availability change

We reserve the right to remove, suspend, or modify any listing that we believe contains inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate information, without prior notice.

6. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• Founding member rates are locked in for the lifetime of your subscription as long as it remains active and uninterrupted
• If you cancel and re-subscribe, founding member pricing may no longer apply
• All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout depending on your location
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details

7. Cancellation and refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal in your management dashboard
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
• Monthly subscriptions: no refunds for the current month
• Annual subscriptions: no refunds are issued for partial periods
• We may issue refunds at our discretion in exceptional circumstances — contact support@certifiedevinstaller.com

8. Intellectual property

All content on this platform, including design, text, graphics, and code, is owned by or licensed to CertifiedEVInstaller. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

Provider profile content submitted by providers remains the property of the provider. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform without permission
• Impersonate another person or EV installer
• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Interfere with or disrupt platform infrastructure or security
• Use automated tools to interact with the platform without our consent

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that provider information will be accurate or complete. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CertifiedEVInstaller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on any provider listing or information. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in subscription fees in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. For UK and EU users, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
